AP/IB Credits
Texas A&M University accepts scores from Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB). We also accept SAT II Subject Test and DANTES Subject Standardized Tests Program (DSST) score but no exams for these programs are given through the Testing Services office.
We cannot assist with credit until we have received the credit.
If we have not received AP credit yet, you can contact College Board at 888-225-5427.
If we have not received IB or any other credit, please contact the institution to either send the scores or see when the scores were sent.
**INCOMING FRESHMAN**
Credit cannot be accepted until you have met with your advisor at your New Student Conference
When emailing our offices, keep in mind the following information:
Only email if you cannot accept the credit yourself.
If you are enrolled in the class that you want credit for, you must drop the class before you email our office to award credit. We do not reset credit, but if you need credit accepted please email testing@tamu.edu in the following format:

- 8.6.4 A student may not have credit posted for credit by examination for courses in which he or she is currently registered or has acquired a grade at Texas A&M other than Q, W, or NG.
- 8.6.10 Students may not receive credit by examination for courses that are prerequisites to courses for which they already have credit except with the approval of the department authorizing the exam.

You are not in the correct tab. You will see "N/A" next to your credit when you are under the Applicant tab. To accept credit, you will need to look under the My Records tab.If you see your credit but it is not allowing you to accept it:
