If you are enrolled in the class that you want credit for, you must drop the class before you email our office to award credit. We do not reset credit, but if you need credit accepted or adjusted please email testing@tamu.edu in the following format:

Texas A&M University Rules and Regulations:

  • 8.6.4 A student may not have credit posted for credit by examination for courses in which he or she is currently registered or has acquired a grade at Texas A&M other than Q, W, or NG.

  • 8.6.10 Students may not receive credit by examination for courses that are prerequisites to courses for which they already have credit except with the approval of the department authorizing the exam.
