TO LOCATE/ACCEPT CREDITS

1. Go to your HOWDY portal at howdy.tamu.edu.
2. Select the My Record tab circled below: 
3. Locate the box labelled Grades and Transcripts and select “Credit by Examination”. Circled below:
4. You will see a chart, similar to the one below, that will show credits available for acceptance at TAMU. If you do not see credits to accept, either we have not received them yet or you are enrolled in the course you would like credit for. 

*IMPORTANT NOTES*

• We cannot assist with credit until we have received the credit.

  • If we have not received AP or CLEP credit yet, you can contact College Board at 888-225-5427.

  • If we have not received IB or any other credit, please contact the institution to either send the scores or see when the scores were sent.

• If you are enrolled in the course that you need to accept credit for, you need to drop the course and then email us at testing@tamu.edu.
