The Day of Your Exam
What To Bring:
You will need to arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled test session with a government issued ID that is unexpired with a photo and signature:- Driver's License
- Passport
- Texas Department of Public Safety Identification Card
- Current Permanent Residence Card
- License To Carry
A student ID is NOT an acceptable ID for this test.
**If a minor is testing, a Parental Release Form will need to be signed and a parent or legal guardian is required to accompany the student.
Without an acceptable ID you will not be permitted to test.
What To Expect:
Upon arrival, you will be directed to lock up all your belongings in a locker provided.
You will be asked to empty your pockets and take off all jewelry. No outside jackets are allowed but you can take a thin or light jacket into the testing room. No hats or scarves allowed.
After you check-in:
- You will be security checked and asked to show your arms and legs. You will be asked to turn pockets inside out so be aware that clothing with numerous pockets will cause a longer check-in process.
- You will be sat down and informed of the specific rules for your exam including your exam breaks, materials, and how much time you have.
- You will be guided into the testing room and your proctors will show you to your assigned seat. A proctor monitors the testing room at all times.
You are not allowed to take anything but your ID, your locker key, wireless earplugs, and a light jacket into the room with you.
Prohibited Items:
- Water bottles
- Phones
- Watches
- Chapstick
- Gum/Candy
- Kleenex
- Car keys
- Wallets
- Knives/Guns
- Outside jackets (raincoats, trenchcoats, quilted jackets, thick/puffy/hard shell jackets, etc.)
- Headbands of any kind
- Hats of any kind

If you do not see availability at our location:
It means that we are full and cannot accept any more appointments. Do not call/emailus for availability.Are masks required?
No; while Prometric does require masks, we follow Texas A&M University's procedures which means that masks are optional.HOWEVER; If you wear a mask during check-ins, then you have to leave it on and above your nose at all times. The same for checking in without a mask.
