Departmental Credit by Examination
Departmental exams are comprehensive tests over the content of a semester long course. These exams are available to currently enrolled students only. Students should consult their academic advisor prior to scheduling an exam. Once credit is awarded it cannot be removed. Exams can only be taken once.
** If you are late for your appointment, you will be asked to reschedule. **

You will go through a security check and will be asked to show your arms and legs. You will be asked to turn pockets inside out so be aware that clothing with numerous pockets will cause a longer check-in process.
You will be informed of the rules of your exam and given scratch paper and pencils if needed. Once seated, a proctor monitors the testing room at all times.
After Your Exam:
Official scores and credit - if awarded - will post to your student record approximately 3 to 5 business days from your exam date.
